Welcome to Ardougne, one of the biggest cities in all of the lands of RuneScape.

1. Ardougne Marketplace:
   The Ardougne Market Place contains Guards (lv-20), Warrior Women (lv-24), Knights of Ardougne, Paladins (lv-62), and Heroes (lv-69). The Market Place also has a wide variety of stalls to buy or steal from.
   
   
   
   In this part of the Ardougne Marketplace, you can steal fur, spices, or silk. If you haven't stolen from the respective stalls recently, you can buy and sell fur, spices, and silk.
   
   
   
   At the silk stall, you can't buy silk, and you can only sell it for 60 gp after talking the Silk Trader into it.
   
   
   
   In this part of the Market Place, you can buy or steal bakery items from the Baker's Stall or gems from the Gems Stall.
   
   
   
   
   
   Here is the Silver stall, where you can buy, sell, or thieve silver items.
   
   
   
   1a. Zenesha's Plate Mail Body Shop
   
   
   
   
   Here you can buy and sell Plate Mail Body armor.
   
   
2. Bank of Runescape:
   Here you can withdraw and deposit your items stored in your personal Bank account.
   
   
   
   
3. The Zoo:
   Here you can encounter a variety of Runescape's animals locked up in cages. This is a great place for ranged training if you're not concerned about getting your arrows back.
   
   This is also an important destination during the Eadgar's Ruse Quest, Monkey Madness Quest, and the Cold War Quest.
   
   
   
   
4. Aemad's Adventuring Supplies:
   Aemad's Adventuring Supplies holds many of the needed items needed for a typical day as an Adventurer. You can also buy and sell items here like a General Store.
   
   
   
   
5. Councillor Halgrive:
   Talk to Councillor Halgrive to start the Sheep Herder Quest.
   
   
   
   
6. Ardougne Church:
   Here is an Altar to restore your Prayer Points, as well as Doctor Orbon, who will sell you protective clothing for the Sheep Herder Quest.
   
   
   
   
7. Ardougne's Furnace:
   Here is Ardougne's furnace where you can smelt your ore into bars.
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. North Bank of Runescape:
   Here is the Northern Bank of Runescape, where you can also withdraw and deposit your items inside your personal Bank account.
   
   
   
   
9. Plague City Quest Start:
   Here you can start the Plague City Quest. Please also see our West Ardougne City Guide. You will also find a Spade and Bucket respawn in the garden.
   
   
   
   
10. Ardougne Bar:
    The Ardougne bar is actually the Flying Horse Inn (Sign says "The Flying Horse - Often seen after 10 pints."). In addition to being the start of the Temple of Ikov Quest, it is also a stop on The Alfred Grimhand Memorial Bar Crawl, which is required for both the Scorpion Catcher Quest and the Horror from the Deep Quest.
    
    In this bar, you can speak to Lucien and start the Temple of Ikov quest.
    
    
    
    
11. Elena's House:
    After rescuing Elena and completing the Plague City Quest., you will find that Elena lives in her own house which is located just east of her parents' house. Here you can start the Biohazard quest.
    
    
    
    
12. Pottery Hut:
    Here are 2 Potter's Wheels and 1 Pottery Oven.
    
    
    
    
13. Carnillean's House:
    If you speak to Cecil here you can start the Hazeel Cult Quest.
    
    
    
    
14. King Lathas' Castle:
    Here is King Lathas' Castle, where you can train your combat or thieving. In here there are Knights of Ardougne, Paladins, and Warrior Women.
    
    This is where you begin the Regicide Quest upon being summoned by King Lathas after completing the Underground Pass Quest.
    
    
    
    
15. The Dock:
    Here is the Dock, where you can take a quick boat ride to Brimhaven for only 30 gp. Or if you are wearing a Ring of Chaors (a) you will be able to travel to Brimhaven for free.
    
    
    
    
16. Lord Handelmort's Mansion:
    Here is Lord Handelmort's Castle, normally locked, but beware of the level 44 Guard Dogs if you're low level and don't have good armor or weapons with you! You will visit Lord Handelmort's Mansion as part of the Tribal Totem Quest.
    
    
    
    
17. Ardougne North Entrance:
    Here is the North Entrance to Ardougne, which usually has 3 guards here at a time, if they're not killed.
    
    
    
    
18. Ardougne Windmill:
    You can bring your wheat picked at the field just south of here along with pots and receive some flour.
    
    
    
    
19. Farming Patch:
    Welcome all farmers to the Ardougne Allotment Patch! This area includes 2 allotment planting areas, 1 herb area, 1 flower area, and a compost bin.
    
    
    
    
20. Ardougne Mine:
    This easy-access mine has 11 Iron Ore and 13 Coal Mining Spots. Feel free to bank your ore in either of the Ardougne banks or the Legends' Guild.
    
    
    
    
21. Chaos Druid Tower:
    This tower holds some Chaos Druids (thus the name) in addition to two chests each containing 2 Blood Runes and 500gp that can be opened with 59 thieving. The basement also holds ogres, in case the entire area south of Ardounge isn't enough for you. 46 thieving is required to enter this area.
    
    
    
    
22. Legends' Guild:

23. Farming Shop:
    Get all of the equipment you need to farm at the nearby allotment here!
    
    
    
    
24. Sea Slug Quest/Fishing Platform:
    Here you can start the Sea Slug Quest or take a trip out to the fishing platform where the quest takes place.
    
    
    
    
25. Perfect Gold Mine:
    Here is where you mine the perfect gold needed to finish the Family Crest Quest.
    
    
    
    
26. Wizard Cromperty's House:
    The resident magician for Ardougne, Wizard Cromperty is used in a variety of quests and can teleport you to the Rune/Pure essence mine. In his house is a Hammer and Chisel Respawn.
    
    
    
    
27. Thieving Training House:
    This is a decent place to train thieving, with two chests, one holding 50gp and requiring lv 43 thieving to open, the other holding 1 nature rune and 3gp and requiring lv 28 to open. Across the road to the north is another building that holds a chest with 10gp and requiring a thieving level of 13 to open.
    
    
    
    
28. RPDT Service:
    The RPDT company moves things, hence all the crates. In the Tribal Totem quest, they move a box containing a magical teleporter to Lord Handelmort's Mansion to allow entrance.
    
    
    
    
29. Entrance to West Ardougne:
    West Ardougne is available after starting the Plague City Quest, and this door may be used after finishing said quest.
    
    
    
    
30. Wilderness Lever:
    If you pull this lever, you will be teleported out to the Level 51 Wilderness, and will be located behind a spider web, so be sure to bring a weapon with a slash attack or a knife. As soon as you feel it's getting too dangerous simply pull the lever to teleport back.
